The Team

  Amy Tamatoa is a Director of Western Lymphatics and is extremely passionate about swelling management and physiotherapy care for people effected by cancer. She loves working with people and has a patient centred approach to her assessment and treatment methods. 

Amy is an experienced physiotherapist, practicing for over 15 years.  She qualified at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and was awarded the Marcus Joe Rosen APA prize. Amy has then gone on to specialise in lymphoedema, completing advanced credentialing, and is currently enrolled with Macquarie University under the ALERT team to complete her Master of Research.

Jackie Andrews is a Director of Western Lymphatics and is committed to working with you and supporting you in your journey. She is passionate about helping people manage their condition using tailored education and treatment that is realistic and goal focused.

She is an experienced OT practicing for over 20 years. She completed her Bachelor (Hons) of Occupational Therapy in the UK followed by a Masters of Science incorporating research into the relationship between thinking styles and treatment outcomes. She worked predominantly in public mental health and home visiting settings before specialising in the area of lymphoedema and scar management. She has completed advanced lymphoedema credentialing and is an accredited Restore Scar Therapy practitioner who aims to deliver current, evidenced based best practice treatment.
