You do not need a referral for our clinic.

You are able to make an appointment with either of our practitioners through our online booking system, or please call/email to make an appointment, or to discuss your needs and concerns. 

A Specialist or GP referral is however recommended for patients who have lower limb wounds, have cardiac failure, have metastatic disease or are undergoing current cancer therapy. If you require compression for your lower limbs, we will require arterial screening.

You may also wish to talk to your GP about getting a chronic disease management plan (EPC) which entitles you to five subsidised allied health visits in a calendar year. 

A GP referral will be required for the following:

· Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Claims 

Once an initial consult has been booked you will receive an email to confirm your appointment. You will also be asked to complete an online information form. This will provide us with relevant background so that we can focus on your treatment goals and needs. If you are unable to complete this online please let us know.

During your appointment you will receive education about your condition. You may have some measurements and non-invasive tests and begin hands on treatment. You will be able to discuss a treatment plan and book for any further appointments. All new appointments are 60 minutes while follow up appointments are 40minutes. 

Free parking is available outside the clinic. 

• Referral or GP care plan if you have one. Please also bring any recent reports, scans or summaries that you feel are relevant to your care. 
• Cards - medicare card, private health insurance or veteran affairs card
• Any old or current garments that you have previously worn or are currently using.
• You may wish to wear loose or easily removed clothing.

Western Lymphatics is a private clinic so there will be an out of pocket cost for all appointments. Prior to your first appointment we will send you details of all fees or please phone or email.

Fee schedule

1-hour initial consultation $180

40-minute follow up consultation $125

We ask for payment on the day of your visit. For payments eligible for health insurance or Medicare rebates we can make claims on your behalf using our hicaps system. As all health funds are different we encourage you to please check with your individual private health fund for any rebates that may apply.

DVA, NDIS (self-managed and plan managed), Aged care packages and EPCs welcome.
